The answer is not always easy or clear. Our hearts goes out to the people who must think or fill that they are all alone. Cherish Senior Care Team is available to help the need of our population. We are the link to successful living. The key for independence is for seniors not to be fearful of accepting help or spending money for guidance and support. If control diminishes, it unfortunately forces others to take charge of the situation and often deprives seniors of the right to maintain their independence and voice their rights. Become familiar with Cherish Senior Care and we'll become familiar with your lifestyle standards and know when you no longer can make your own decision your wishes are carried on by your Personal Care Manager in the comfort of your own home until other changes are necessary.

A Trusted Home Care Team

As a team, we are dedicated to our seniors and appreciate the opportunity to become a team player in developing a solution that will fit their specific needs. Our Elder Home Care Managers and Staff Coordinators will assist you, match you with a Caregiver and a Care Package to support your independence lifestyle.

Elder Home Care Managers

Cherish Senior Care will put seniors in touch with trained Elder Home Care Managers who are assigned to monitor your independent lifestyle. Your Elder Home Care Manager become the "link" that maintain your standard of independence when aging can significantly alter the lifestyle you or your love ones are accustomed too living. You Elder Care Manager will monitor your care in your place of residents short or long-term. Elder Home Care Manager services include: On-call 24 hours, daily or weekly safety checks, medication reminder (dispensed only), escort to doctor appointments, contacting your doctor as needed, bathing or showering assisting visits, grocery shopping, arranging client's move, personal shopping & errands, assistance with paying bills, mailing bills and letters, assessments, managing and arranging any needed service, reporting changes to primary caregiver near or far away, creating and coordinating a customized care plan and services to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Home Caregivers

Living alone doesn't have to mean being alone. Sometimes all a parent or loved one need to remain independent at home is a little extra support. We have available caregivers to help with personal care, shopping, and household management (See Care Packages). Our Caregivers are bonded, insured, each Caregiver background is checked with the Department of Justice, Caregivers are tested for the level of care experience and receives continuous training.

Companion

Home Care Companions provide service to individuals in their own home and communities who may need help caring for themselves as a result of aging, sickness, disability and/or other inflictions. Home care may include assisting to doctor appointments, medication reminders, light housecleaning, laundry, meal preparation, transportation, companionship, respite, errands shopping and outings (See Care Packages.

Live-In

Cherish Senior Care live-in caregivers stays 24 hours a day, assist with primary care day and night 7 days a week. The primary caregiver provides care for 4 to 5 days a week, the second caregiver takes over for the remainder of the week and a back-up caregiver is available on call as needed.

Personal Care Attendant

Personal Care Attendants assist with the activities of daily living, wheelchair, walker, range of motion, housecleaning, laundry, meal preparation, transportation, companionship and respite.

Personal Shopper

Your Personal Shopper is available to seniors and working families with limited time and could use a little help in shopping for gifts, clothes, furniture, jewelry, groceries, for special clients, birthdays, anniversaries, guess, Christmas and other special occasion of your choice.

Personal Transportation Driver

You may be limited to driving, don't have a car, someone to drive you about, no longer permitted to drive due to age, medical or health conditions. Cherish Senior Care ensure seniors and restricted drivers the safely advantage of personal transportation. Our non-emergency personal transportation services make it possible for you, a love one or a group of friends to get out and enjoy the day or night. No more waiting or needing assistant to go shopping, to doctor appointments, or run an errand long or short distance. Your personal transportation driver will take you anywhere and you have the option to be with or without assistance. Walkers and wheelchairs are welcome with some mobility. Non seniors are also welcome to call for reservations. All client's must register before service began.

Hospice

A terminal illness is difficult and often overwhelming. Our Caregivers and Care Managers help you or a families member face these challenging days with dignity and compassion. Our team approach addresses the needs and wishes of the client, from management to household to emotional and spiritual support.

Assessments

Assessments are free with payroll, all insurances, and are done in the privacy of the clients' resident.

Acceptance of Payment

Many of our home care services are covered by private payment, family pay, long term care insurance. Cherish Senior Care charges a fee for Private Hire and Payroll, which provides insurance and bonding for the Elder Care Managers, Caregivers and Private Transportation Drivers during the entire placement.

Year round Support

Support is available 24 hours a day / 7 days a week. You can always speak to a Duty Officer after hours, our experienced team of professionals provide expert non-medical care services.
